If your horse has suffered a bite or graze, this can attract flies and expose the skin to infection. With its natural antibacterial and antimicrobial properties an Epsom salt treatment can support the health of your horse’s skin.

How to use

Horse & Groom^® Epsom salt can be used in a variety of ways for its antibacterial action. Here’s our most popular uses:

 

• Spray - Dissolve our Epsom salt in water, use as a spray and apply directly to the coat or affected area.
• Exfoliate - Add our Epsom salt to your horse’s regular shampoo, once the salts are partially dissolved the solution can be applied in the usual way.
• Rinse - Dissolve our Epsom salt in a bucket of water and use as a rinse post cleansing.
